Mr Subhajit Panda is currently serving as a Senior Assistant Librarian at the Central Library, Chandigarh University, and is pursuing his PhD at Punjabi University, Patiala. He has nearly 90 publications in national and international journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings, of which nearly 20 are Scopus-indexed. He also has two design patents to his credit. He is a life member of esteemed organisations such as the Indian Library Association (ILA), Madras Library Association (MALA), and Bengal Library Association (BLA). Mr Panda has also served as an associate editor for The International Journal of Information Studies & Libraries (IJISL). He has been awarded the Young Researcher Award (2022) by the Institute of Scholars (InSc) and the Best Young Librarian Award (2026) by the Madras Library Association (MALA). Skilled in digital literacy, information retrieval, library management, bookkeeping, and referencing. His areas of interest include e-Learning, change management, cloud computing, open access, web accessibility, virtual and augmented reality, and metrics studies. Known for his dedication, collaborative approach, and leadership in library initiatives, Mr Panda continues to contribute meaningfully to advancing library services in higher education institutions, aligning them with global standards of excellence.
