S Ramachandran

About

Dr. S. Ramachandran was born in Tamil Nadu, India, on Aug 3, 1984. He received his UG degree B.E in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University in 2007. He completed his M.E in Power Electronics and Drives from Anna University of Technology in 2011. He has done his research work in Renewable energy under the title “Solar Photovoltaic Interfaced Quasi Impedance Source Network Based Static Compensator for Voltage and Frequency Control in the Wind Energy System”. He completed his Ph.D at Anna University, Chennai in 2022.

With 12 years of teaching experience, he has published more than 16 papers at national and international conferences and also national and international journals he has published more than 17 journals. He has published 5 patents in various fields of innovations such as Electronics, Mechanical, Physics, etc. He is a dynamic member of various professional bodies like IAENG, IFERP.

He has coordinated NAAC, NBA, autonomous, AICTE and Anna University-related activities for the department. He has guided the UG and PG student’s project works and motivated them to present their works at national/international conferences, technical exhibitions in various colleges and also at our college, and also to present papers in inter-college and intra-college symposiums for the student’s progress. He has been an examiner and question paper setter for various autonomous colleges.

He implemented an effective teaching-learning process in the department by coordinating all the departmental activities. He has acted as a convenor and organizer for various programs organized in the institution. An eminent person in organizing many programs through the Alumni Club association.

Presently he is upgrading his research work in the field of Renewable energy, Nanomaterials, Power Electronics and Drives.
