About
At present, I am senior consultant in Molecular Biology at Institute of Child Health, Kolkata. Earlier, I was Professor of Biotechnology at Haldia Institute of Technology. I did my Ph.D.in Biochemistry from Bose Institute and Post-doctoral research at Yale University and at Univ of Connecticut, USA.After four years as lecturer at Bose Institute, I joined Industrial R&D and worked for 14 years in different Industries in India and Europe.I established the Dept of Biotechnology at Burdwan University for post-graduate teaching and research and got it recognized by DBT,Govt of India.I have 80 peer reviewed papers in different journals and books and two patents to my credit.I have supervised ten students for Ph.D.research.
