Er. Gurpreet Singh is currently working as Workplace Trainer/ Engineering Tutor at Milton Keynes College, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. Prior to joining this college he has served as Mechanical assembler engineer/Quality control assistant in USA based multinational manufacturing organization "Airedale International Air-Conditioning Limited", Leeds, United Kingdom. In India, he has worked as Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering department at Chandigarh University, Gharuan, Mohali, Punjab. Currently Pursuing Postgraduation Certificate in Academic Practise (PGCAP) from University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. Further, he has successfully completed NCFE level 3 certificate course on assessing vocational achievement (CAVA) from Milton Keynes College, United Kingdom. He has obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from P.T.U Jalandhar in 2007, Master of Technology (Part-Time) in Production Engineering from P.T.U Jalandhar in 2013 and Obtained Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala, Punjab, India in 2023. He has more than 11 years of Teaching experience at undergraduate level university courses along with Industrial experience of manufacturing, assembly, Quality control and calibration. He has taught the various courses of domain at different levels like Manufacturing processes, Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics Machines, Engineering Drawing, Properties and applications of engineering materials, Fabrication and welding, Mechanical Principles, Solar energy, and Energy Management. His research interest are Conventional and Non–conventional machining of deformable materials, Sustainable machining of Superalloys (Hastelloy-276, Mg Alloy), Circular Economy, Process Optimization, Utility of Graphene nano-fluids as lubricant, and Additive manufacturing. He has published more than 21 research articles in Journals of repute and Conferences.
