About

With over a decade of experience in higher education, I am an academician, researcher, and mentor in Computer Science with a strong interest in Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Energy-Efficient Computing, Resource Scheduling, and emerging computing technologies.

My academic and professional journey has been driven by a commitment to integrating teaching, research, and student mentoring. I have extensive experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, curriculum delivery, laboratory instruction, project supervision, research mentoring, assessment, and academic evaluation. My teaching approach emphasizes conceptual understanding, practical implementation, interactive learning, and the application of computing technologies to real-world problems.

My research primarily focuses on cloud computing, particularly energy-efficient resource management, virtual machine scheduling and migration, workload optimization, Quality of Service (QoS), green cloud computing, and intelligent optimization techniques. In recent years, my research interests have expanded to include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and the application of computational intelligence to healthcare, smart systems, and other interdisciplinary domains.

I have published more than 25 research articles in journals and conference proceedings and continue to actively collaborate on research addressing contemporary challenges in computing. My recent research includes intelligent and energy-efficient cloud workload scheduling, deep-learning-based workload migration, optimization-based cloud resource management, and machine-learning approaches for healthcare applications. I have also authored books related to Cloud Computing and the applications of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

Alongside research, I actively mentor students in academic projects, research publications, technical competitions, career development, and professional skill enhancement. I encourage students to move beyond classroom learning by engaging with research, cloud platforms, programming technologies, certifications, competitions, and industry-oriented problem solving.

I have contributed to academic activities as a resource person, paper setter, evaluator, research mentor, and participant in Faculty Development Programs, workshops, conferences, and professional training programmes. These engagements enable me to continuously strengthen my knowledge of emerging technologies and incorporate contemporary developments into teaching and research.

My current academic interests include Cloud Computing, Cloud Security, Green and Sustainable Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Resource Optimization, Distributed Computing, and intelligent cloud-based systems.

I remain committed to advancing meaningful research, developing industry-relevant technical expertise, mentoring students toward academic and professional excellence, and contributing to the wider academic and research community through collaborative and interdisciplinary work.
