Dr P. Pandikumar did his under and post-graduation in the Department of Botany at Kongunadu College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore between 1996-2001. He got his doctoral degree in the Division of Ethnopharmacology, Entomology Research Institute, Loyola College, Chennai in 2012. His areas of specialization are: Siddha system of traditional medicine; Identification of bioactive natural products; Metabolic disorders; Functional foods and Indian Medicinal plants
