Dr Ajay Rana, Professor, Computer Science & Engineering, currently working as Dean , Director & Senior Vice President in Amity Education Group, is well known all over the world for his extraordinary leadership under which the Amity Education Group gained immense global recognition and stature. He is an Educationalist, a Teacher by heart, an Innovator, Strategist and a Committed Philanthropist with deep organizational Ethics, Equality and holding hands of every individual who wish to succeed in life as the core of his life philosophy.

Having background of Defense Services, he completed his early education in different schools, in various part of India. With a desire to gain proficiency in the field of Computer Science and thus impart and inspire the same zeal in young minds, Dr Rana completed his Masters in the field of Computer Science & Engineering from the prestigious Kurukshetra University, Haryana (India). Thereafter completed his Ph.D. with the same specialization.

Dr Ajay Rana is one of the strongest pillars of Amity Education Group. Almost 2 decades ago he decided to work in the field of Education, neglecting the booming IT Industry and the rewarding Corporate Sector, due to his core philosophy of empowering the youth of nation through best education methodologies and to continue the rich culture of Guru-Shishya Parampara, he joined Amity Education Group as a lecturer.

With his ingenious ideas, hard work and strategies, he built Amity a Global Brand, what it is today. From merely having 32 students, limited to one single campus in India, today Amity has emerged as the leading, in fact, one of the biggest education providers through private initiative in India and Abroad.

He is an avid researcher and thorough strategist. With an intent to provide a robust learning environment to his students, he has visited many Top Universities & Colleges, which have legacy of more than 1200 years of producing leaders on the global front in entire Europe, USA, UK & Asia. With his strategies and best practices introduced into the system, today Amity Education Group is a family of more than 1.75 Lakh students with over 2.5 Lakh Alumni who have already graduated from its Campuses across the globe.

Dr Ajay Rana is spearheading variety of tasks and holds variety of positions as a key member of his organization. His core positions at Group Level includes- Dean , Director , Advisor & Senior Vice President to various verticals of Amity Education Group including Schools of higher & early education.

Dr Ajay Rana has been honored with numerous awards & recognition for his extraordinary work in the field of education and research including: Man of Academic Advisory Award, IIAR, Icon of Healthcare Award, Med Achievers, Leadership Award by BRICS – MSME, Most Influential 100 Directors of India, Educlusion Award- Singapore, IT Next- CIO, International WHO’S WHO – USA, Italian Machine Tool Technology Award, Italy And many more.

Apart from holding such critical roles and assignments, he is pursuing his core philosophy of imparting quality education. He already have more than 236 Research Papers in his account, published in reputed Journals and Proceedings of International and National Conferences, Co-authored 06 Books and co-edited 36 Conference Proceedings. He has undertaken 34 Sponsored Research Projects and 09 major systems-based Management/HRD Consultancies in a number of reputed organizations both public and private, in India and abroad. He has also organized 126+ Conference, Workshop, Faculty Development Program. Under his guidance 18 scholars have completed their Ph.D. and are many are on their way.
