About
I would like to introduce myself as Dr. Subhankar Das, currently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India. Previously I was also having teaching and research experience at Siddartha Institute of Science and Technology, Puttur. I had completed my Ph. D. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering National Institute of Technology Silchar (An Institute of National Importance by MHRD, Govt. of India), India. I defended my research work on “Silanized Carbon Fillers and its Damage Mitigation Capabilities for Potential Reinforcement in Hybrid Laminates” under the supervision of Professor Sudipta Halder. I had completed my M. Tech in Design and Manufacturing from the National Institute of Technology Silchar and done B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Agartala (An Institute of National Importance by MHRD, Govt. of India). Currently, I am working on the functionalization of nanomaterials, characterization of epoxy nanocomposites and fiber reinforced laminated composites.
