About
I am a microbiologist and researcher with over 15 years of experience in the fields of applied microbiology, immunoinformatics, and vaccine development. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Microbiology at the prestigious Pasteur Institute of India, my research focuses on the design and development of multi-epitope peptide-based vaccines against zoonotic viral infections such as Kyasanur Forest Disease (KFD), using advanced computational and reverse vaccinology approaches.
My career spans laboratory diagnostics, hospital microbiology, and academic research, including hands-on training in molecular techniques such as PCR, ELISA, transcriptomics, and bioinformatics. I have presented and published extensively on vaccine design, microbial pathogenesis, and emerging infectious diseases, with recognition including Best Oral and Poster Presentation Awards at national and international conferences. I am also a contributing member of the American Society for Microbiology and the Microbiology Society (UK).
With an interdisciplinary approach that integrates classical microbiological techniques and modern computational biology, I am committed to advancing scientific knowledge in infectious disease control and immunological research through innovation, collaboration, and translational science.
