About
Dr. Kazi Asraf Ali is an accomplished pharmaceutical researcher and educator, currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal. He holds M. Pharm (2009) and Ph.D. (2014) degrees from Jadavpur University.
With over 11 years of teaching experience, Dr. Ali has guided more than 40 M. Pharm students and one Ph.D. scholar. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and contributed book chapters of national and international repute. His research focuses on novel drug delivery systems, pharmaceutical formulations, nanomaterials, and the use of artificial intelligence in pharmaceutical development.
Dr. Ali has authored 38 publications, and 530 citations on Google Scholar with h-index 11. His recent studies explore AI-generated nanoparticles, buoyant drug formulations, and nanocomposite applications in dermatology.
He actively collaborates with researchers across institutions and has served as a question paper setter, moderator, evaluator, head examiner, and RAC member in various universities. Through his dedication to research and education, Dr. Ali continues to contribute significantly to advancements in pharmaceutical sciences.
