About
I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in Economics at Banaras Hindu University. I have completed my PhD in Economics on the topic "Predicting Bankruptcy of Indian Manufacturing Companies" from the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad. In my doctoral work, I proposed a hybrid bankruptcy prediction model for Indian manufacturing companies which can be used as an early warning signal by investors and regulators. Before the current position, I worked as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Bihar. My educational qualifications include M.A. in Economics from the University of Hyderabad and B.A. (Hons) Economics from Banaras Hindu University. I have a research interest in the area of bankruptcy Prediction, governance, public policy, financial development, food security and applied economics.
