About
Dr. Kumar is passionate about doing research in the area of Surface modification using cold-spray nano-structured coatings, Synthesis of nano-particles (bottom-up and top-down approach), Tribological studies of metal matrix composites and worked as Senior Research Fellow at IIT Ropar. Presently serving as Professor and HOD with CU Mohali . He has published more than 50 papers in International Journals and Conferences. He is reviewer of prestigious journals (Elsevier / Springer). He has visited various countries to attend the International Conferences and present his research work. Apart from this, he is having more than 18 years of teaching and research experience. During this tenure, he has handled various administrative responsibilities such as Head of Mechanical Engineering Department (HMED), member of BOS PTU for 03 years, worked on important reports PTU/AICTE PTU Variation in Intake, Mandatory Disclosure reports, DPR (Integrated Campus), MODROB, SDP of AICTE, TEQIP-II.
