About
Having research experience in the synthesis of new and novel solar energy materials from the II-VI, IV-VI, I-II-IV-VI (CdS, CdSe, ZnS, ZnSe, PbS, PbSe, Cu2ZnSnS4, Cu2ZnSnSe4, and Cu2ZnSnTe4) group compound semiconductors (quaternary chalcogenides) and deposition of nanocrystalline thin films via chemical and Hands-on experience in the deposition of chemical and physical methods such as Chemical Bath Deposition, Photochemical Deposition, Spray Pyrolysis, Spin Coating, Thermal Evaporation, Electron Beam Evaporation, DC and RF Magnetron Sputtering systems, and Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) and also characterization techniques like XRD, Hall Effect, optical microscopes, SEM, and AFM.
Our team is currently developing nitride thin films and perovskite thin films solar cells, quaternary chalcogenides flexible electronics, and wearable thermoelectric devices. Our goal is to create large-scale devices for energy harvesting applications in order to meet future energy demands.
