About

Dr. Akash is Ph.D. from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (Major: Artificial Intelligence, stability and Optimization). Having 20 years of rich administrative, academic and research experience. He is currently associated with Central University of Haryana as a full professor, earlier he was associated with (Vellore Institute of Technology) VIT Bhopal University as Senior Research Professor. He was also associated with Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology (SKIT, Jaipur) as a Professor and Head. Under his leadership department get twice accredited with NBA. He also acted as Coordinator of Outcome Based Education and coordinator of NAAC accreditation. With his coordination and leadership as a department head, the institute got NAAC A++ accreditation.
Dr. Akash has also served as a NBA Coordinator, Head of the Department, Controller of Examination, dean research and many other academic and administrative positions in various institution. He has served on various Governing bodies including National Institute of Technical Teacher Training and Research (Certified Faculty Mentor), UK India Education and Research Institute (UKIERI), British Council (Nodal Coordinator for Leadership Development Program), All India Council for Technical Education (Principal Investigator for MODROB project (12.14 Lacs INR), Coordinator of Short Term Training Programmes and 3 Sponsored conferences) Rajasthan Technical University (VC nominee of Doctoral Research Committee , Principal Investigator for two TEQIP-III sponsored Research Projects of worth 4.40 Lacs INR)and Rajasthan ILD Skill university as chairman of Board of Studies for Artificial Intelligence for designing Course Curriculum.
Dr. Akash is also serving as Fellow IETE, Senior Member- IEEE, he is also IEEE Volunteer for more than 2 decades and have executed many leadership roles of IEEE in India and abroad. He has organized International Le adership Summit in 2017. He has organised more than 15 international conferences as a leader and coordinator, out of these 5 events are sponsored by AICTE and TEQIP-III. He has also done mentoring for young faculty members by giving 50 plus expert lectures at National and International Platforms. To name a few prominent ones are Malaviya National Institute of Technology, University of Paderborn and University of Bahrain.

Dr. Akash is amongst top 2% scientists of World in the field of Artificial Intelligence, this ranking is given by Stanford University and Elsevier jointly on the basis of quality single author publications and citation counts. His major research areas are soft computing, Computational and Artificial Intelligence with the specialization in Optimization theory. Dr. Akash is having vast experience of teaching artificial intelligence, machine learning, grid stability and operation. He is having a high H-index 18, i-10 index 27 and total citation 966 as on date 5th December 2022. He has published 25 SCI papers, out of these 4 papers are sole author papers (all in Elsevier) and 9 are first author papers.
HE has published more than 100 papers in international journals and more than 75 papers in various national and international conferences. Out of these papers more than 50 papers are in Scopus indexed journals. HE has co-authored four book chapters and co-inventor for 3 patents.
A number of prestigious professional organizations have taken him on board as an editor, reviewer and adviser. Dr. Akash Saxena has to his credit a number of accomplished sponsored projects from the prestigious government organizations. He supervised 3 Ph.D. and 24 Master theses hitherto.
