Jay Nigam

About

Jay Nigam works in Mumbai as GM at NABARD, an apex development finance institution. He has served NABARD since March 1996 and was posted in various capacities in UP, North-East, MP, and Jharkhand. He has also worked at CPWD and in the private sector. He has experience in the Appraisal, Monitoring, & Evaluation of Infrastructure Projects, viz., Irrigation Projects, Drinking water supply, Roads, Bridges, Storage, market yards, etc. He has implemented projects in Natural Resources Management (NRM), Climate Change, Rural Development Banking, Financial Inclusion and Banking Technology, SHGs, JLGs, FPOs and OFPOs. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a PG Diploma in Computer Science, and an MBA. He earned his PhD from UPES, Dehradun. He is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB), a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers-India (FIE), a Member of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences: Wallingford, GB and a Life Member of the Indian Water Resources Society (LM-IWRS).
