About
Dr. R. VIVEK is an Assitant Professor and designated as DBT-Ramalingaswami Re-Entry Faculty Fellow, Govt. of India & Head in responsibility of Bio-Nano Theranostic Research Laboratory, Cancer Research Program (CRP). He received M.Sc and Ph.D from Bharathiar University, India under University Research Fellowship (URF) for meritorious student awarded during his doctoral research. He also received several prestigious awards for his research excellence, such as the Ramalingaswami Re-Entry Faculty Fellowship awarded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India. International Young Scientists awarded by NSFC from Govt. of China. International Post-Doctoral Fellowship awarded by Govt. of China. SERB National Post-Doctoral Fellowship awarded by DST, Govt. of India. KSMO-Young Investigator Award-2022. He also awarded the American Chemical Society prestigious ACS-Reviewer Recognition award, and Elsevier Reviewer Recognition award. Based on his presentation skills, an Excellent Oral Presentation Awarded by Hong-Kong Society International Conference- & a Best Oral Presentation Awarded by International conferences on physiology and medicine. Also, KSMO-2019 Travel Grant Award by Korean Society of Medical Oncology, Korea. He did first PDF program in Biomedical Engineering Department, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai worked in the field of Photothermal-Nanomedicine. After that, He moved to Cancer Research Program at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), Bio-Innovation Centre (BIC), DBT-Research Institute to follow my second DST-SERB NPDF program in the field of Photothermal & Photodynamic Nanomedicine. His field and aim of research highly focus on advance nanotechnology research for various diseases including cancer diagnosis, prevention, and treatment with development of an innovative target nanomedicine for advanced next-generation nanotherapy.
