About

Shikha Gulati is a native of Delhi, India with a B.Sc(H) in Chemistry from the University of Delhi, India. She joined Green Chemistry Network Centre, the University of Delhi in 2009 as a doctoral student. She has worked on a project (2009-2012) entitled “One-pot and solventless synthesis of Metalloporphyrins: A Green Chemistry Approach”, sponsored by the University Grant Commission, Government of India. Dr. Shikha Gulati (M.Sc., PhD.) is working as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi. She has expertise in Inorganic Chemistry, Nano-materials, Green Chemistry, Catalysis, and Analytical Chemistry. Dr. Shikha has authored several research papers in International Journals of repute and written numerous books as well as chapters in diverse books which attest to her research aptitude, and good writing skills. Her books are referred to in diverse Universities across India for different undergraduate courses. Her instrumentation skills are also remarkable as she is handling various instruments such GCMS, IR, AAS, Auto-titrator, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Microwave Digester, ED-XRF, and many more. She has awarded many prizes in Poster & oral presentations at National and International Conferences. Dr. Gulati has also been awarded the Young Researcher Award 2020 for her work in the field of Nanotechnology. Professionally, she is affiliated with Green Chemistry Network Centre as a Life member. She is also a member of the American Chemical Society, Royal Society of Chemistry, London.
