About
My research interest includes synthesis of nonconventional intrinsically fluorescent polymers for diverse applications. I have expertise in synthesis of ESIPT-ESICT exhibiting aliphatic polymers with redox activity, semiconducting properties, and multiple metal ion sensing abilities. Specifically, the chromo-fluorogenic sensing of metal ions are one of my special research interests. Additionally, synthesis of hybrid fluorescent polymers with aliphatic polymer and nanoparticle assembly with FRET based multi-light emitting properties are of high interest.
