About

Dr Sunil Kahar 19-years’ experience in academic & R &D in Corrosion science & Technology at The M S University of Baroda. He is Solo Author of Book entitle “Corrosion Behaviour of Electroslag strip cladded weld overlay”. He is Recipient of NACE International Gateway India Section (NIGIS) Corrosion Awareness Award-2014 in the category of Distinction in Corrosion Science & Technology in research & education , IIM-KK Award 2015 by Indian Institute of Metal Baroda Chapter, Best paper presented Award in Corrosion Monitoring and Testing Session of the International Conference on Corrosion and Expo CORCON -2022 & AMPP India Chapter (AIC), Corrosion Awareness Award-2023 in the category of Excellent in Corrosion Science & Technology in research & education. His key area of research is corrosion protection coating, surface engineering & cladding technology. He has presented and published more than 96 research papers in International Journal and International Conferences. He has carried various testing & consultancy project of industries and prepared more than 115 technical report on material selection for corrosion protection application and metallurgical analysis. He Guiding 3 PHD scholars & guided more than 55 Research Project PG Level Jointly with various industries.
