Dr. Mohammad Faheem Khan is an associate professor in the Chemistry Division, Department of Biotechnology at Era University, Lucknow, India. He has more than 17 years of experience in natural product chemistry, bioorganic chemistry and drug discovery. He received his PhD. in Organic/Natural Product Chemistry from the Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), Lucknow, India, in 2013 under the mentorship of Dr. Rakesh Maurya, a renowned natural product chemist in India. Dr. Khan’s research interest includes the Isolation & identification of bioactive compounds from plants, the development of new methodologies to purify the bioactive compounds, analytical chemistry, and computer-aided drug designing. Dr. Khan has 95 publications, including 71 research/review articles, 16 book chapters, 08 books and 01 Indian patent (google H-index = 1816 and i10-index = 58). He is a life member of the Association of Chemistry Teachers of India, the Society of Ethnopharmacology, Bioinformatics and Drug Discovery Society, India, Indian Society of Personalized Medicine and American Chemical Society (ACS). Dr. Khan holds the position of scientific advisor of a multidimensional society and brand ambassador to promote Bentham Sciences in India.
