Currently serving as Lead – Aquatic Habitats & Species at WWF-India's River & Wetland Project Office, Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. With over 12 years of experience in aquatic biodiversity conservation, ecological research, and programme management, I have led and contributed to several landscape-level conservation initiatives across the Ganga River Basin. My work primarily focuses on the conservation of the Gangetic dolphin, freshwater turtles, gharials, waterbirds, wetlands, and riverine ecosystems through scientific research, community participation, and policy support. I have prior expertise in biodiversity surveys, habitat assessments, ecological monitoring, environmental flow studies, and capacity building of frontline forest staff. I am committed to integrating science, conservation practice, and stakeholder engagement for the long-term conservation of freshwater ecosystems.
