About
Dr. Umair Khan was born on February 12, 1992, in District Mardan, Pakistan. He earned his M.Sc. in Mathematics from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2016, followed by an M.Phil. in Applied Mathematics from the same university in 2018. He was awarded two Gold Medals for his M.Phil., one by the Mathematics Department and another by the Natural Sciences Department. Throughout his M.Sc. and M.Phil., he received several scholarships, including the Departmental Fellowship and the Riaz-ud-din Memorial Scholarship. Dr. Khan completed his Ph.D. at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, under the prestigious "Gold Vice Chancellor Scholarship" (gold category). He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, at Sakarya University, Serdivan/Sakarya, Turkey. In addition, he is an adjunct professor in the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics at the Lebanese American University, Lebanon, and is pursuing postdoctoral studies at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Dr. Khan also works as an external researcher in the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics at Western Caspian University, Baku, Azerbaijan. His research interests include Fluid Mechanics, Nanofluids, Hybrid Nanofluids, Heat Transfer, Boundary Layer Flow, Numerical Analysis, Ordinary Differential Equations, and Partial Differential Equations. He has published over two hundred papers in high-impact journals and has participated in numerous national and international conferences.
