About

I am working as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, Institute of Technology, Nirma University, and involved in teaching courses related to the manufacturing area at both Undergraduate and Post Graduate levels. I obtained MTech degree in Industrial Process Equipment Design from SVNIT, Surat in 2010. I pursued Ph.D. in the area of Sustainable Manufacturing. I have authored several papers in the area of sustainable manufacturing, optimization, clean and green manufacturing, etc., in referred International Journals and presented/published many papers in International Conferences/Proceedings. I have successfully executed three Minor Research Projects as PI/Co-PI funded by Nirma University.

I have been selected for the SERB International Research Experience scheme for the years 2022-2023, supported by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to work on the collaborative research project at the School of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering, Dublin City University, Ireland. I was also selected for International Teaching Mobility Program to visit the Public University of Navarra (Spain) under the ERASMUS+ Program grant. I have received the International Travel Support award in the young scientist category from the Science and Engineering Research Board, DST-India. I have also received an international travel grant from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and Nirma University. I was selected under the Summer Faculty Research Fellow Programme–2020 at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. My current research interests include Sustainable Manufacturing, Materials Processing Techniques, Additive Manufacturing, Laser Processing, etc.
