Dr. C.Kathiravan is working as an Assistant Professor at VIT Business School, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. Before joining VIT Business School, he had worked with the Department of Commerce and Financial Studies, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli.

He obtained his B. Com from Bharathidasan University Constituent College, Lalgudi in 2013, and got his MBA from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu in 2015, and he has also completed a Diploma in Teacher Education from the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Kumulur, Trichy, Tamil Nadu in 2010.

He has a passion for Research and his research papers were published in Springer, John Wiley & Sons, Journal Citation Reports (Clarivate Analytics) impact factor, SCI & SSCI, ABDC, ABS, Q rank and SCOPUS indexed journals. His ResearchGate score is 9.82 and Google scholar citations stand at 203 (h-index: 09 and i10-index: 09).

He also has presented many research papers at international and national level conferences. More to this, he has participated in many research workshops including IIMA Doctoral Scholars’ School 2019 (DSS’19) at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmadabad .

He is the Life Member of many Professional Bodies like the American Finance Association (Student Member), World Economics Association, Teaching and Education Research Association, Social Science and Humanities Research Association, Indian Academic Researchers Association, and International Management Research & Technology Consortium

Dr C. Kathiravan won the Best Research Scholar (in the area of Behavioural Finance) Award in 2020.
