I am working as Assistant Professor-Stage III at Yenepoya Research Centre, Yenepoya University (Deemed to be University). I am a clinicial Virologist with MBBS and Post-Graduate diploma (DGO) in Obstetrics and Gynecology (2 years) from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, Calicut University, PhD in Virology (Manipal Institute of Virology, Manipal University/Manipal Academy of Higher Education), and Masters in Public Health (MPH) from Brunel University of London, UK. After seven years of clinical experience, I started my research career at Manipal Institute of Virology as a Research Scientist (5 years) and completed my PhD in 2016. I was promoted as Assistant Professor in 2015 (2015-2020). For five years I had been working as an independent researcher, Kathmandu, Nepal and earned MPH degree (2 years, Part-time) from Brunel University of London, UK on 21st August 2025. Later I worked as Scientist-Medical DHR-ICMR VRDL at Government Medical College, Kannur for six months.
