About
Dhruv Sanjay Gupta is an MSc graduate in Applied Cancer Science from the University of Oxford, and holds a B.Pharm and MBA from NMIMS Mumbai. His research interests lie in pharmacology, cancer biology and nanomedicine, with a particular focus on targeted drug delivery and translational therapeutics.
He has contributed to a substantial body of peer-reviewed literature, including several first-author publications, covering areas such as anticancer phytochemicals, nanoparticulate drug delivery systems, and the molecular mechanisms underlying metabolic, microbial and neurodegenerative diseases. His work brings together mechanistic understanding and therapeutic application, with an emphasis on clinically relevant outcomes.
More recently, his research has begun to explore systems-level and mechanistic biology, including gene regulation in response to physiological stimuli, reflecting a growing interest in precision medicine approaches.
He is particularly interested in the development of next-generation nanotherapeutics and in translating molecular insights into effective strategies for cancer treatment.
