Dr. Rajneesh Talwar is presently working as DEAN, DICE (Department of Interdisciplinary courses in Engineering at Chitkara University). He is taking care of Projects such as E-Cycle, E-Bike, Robotics, Drones, Competitions and Hackathons etc

Was earlier Director, Chandigarh Engineering College, Jhanjeri, Mohali. Worked as Principal, CGC Technical Campus, Jhanjeri, Mohali, Punjab, India.
He has more than 22 Years of Professional Experience of Teaching, Research and Administration.

Did his PhD. in 2010 and M.Tech in 2002 from THAPAR UNIVERSITY, Patiala, Punjab, India.

Has more than 10 patents filed till date and the first one was a U.S Patent
Granted“FIBER OPTIC POINT TEMPERATURE SENSOR” to his credit filed in 2005,

More than SIXTY international Journal Publications, presented papers /participated in more than ten International conferences and many national level conference participations.

He has been Delivering Expert talks on Wireless Communication, IOT,Communication Systems etc at various national level FDP’s and Invited Talks. Has been guest of Honour at STTP. Chaired many International Conferences.

He was Editorial board member of International Journal of Engg. Science and Technology, Nigeria, was Reviewer of MAEJO International Journal of Engineering Science and Technology, Thailand and is reviewer of “Materials and Design”, a ELSEVIER International Journal. He is on TPC of various IEEE ongoing and Upcoming Conferences.

GUIDED 10 candidates for their Phd. Work.
Guided TEN M.Tech. thesis.
Worked as principal CGC-COE Landran and Swift Technical Campus, Rajpura, Punjab, India. He has worked at various positions such as Professor and Vice Principal RIMT-MAEC, MandiGobindgarh, Professor and Head, Electronics and communication Engineering department at RIMT-IET, Mandigobindgarh, Punjab India. Was Coordinator ECE Department at Chitkara Institute of Engineering, Rajpura, Punjab India. Has been an active member in organizing national level seminars, workshops, conferences at various institutes he has worked.

HAS BEEN MENTOR TO STUDENTS FOR VARIOUS NATIONAL LEVEL EVENTS SUCH AS
HACKATHON 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021,2022 EFFICYCLE COMPETITION BY SAE,
GO CARTS COMPETITION.

Dr. TALWAR has been instrumental in Signing MOU with various industries (BOSCH, AWS, RED HAT, PALO ALTO )and ensuring regular Seminars, Workshops, Industrial visits for providing practical exposure to the Students and for students placements.

Organized Asia’s Biggest Electrical Vehicle Championship at CEC JHANJERI in Dec.2021
Organized Punjab Skill competition at CEC JHANJERI Campus in 2021

Was NODAL CENTER HEAD for conducting TOYCATHON 2021 by AICTE Govt.of INDIA.

Guided various Projects which have won at National Level such as HACKATHON 2017, where the team got THREE LAKH, FIFTY THOUSAND from Govt. of India and handed over the project to Govt.

He was President of Institute Innovation Council of CEC Jhanjeri, ensuring regular sessions on Innovation, entrepreneurship and Startups. Got 3.5 star out of four for 2020-21


Has been the Judge and into core organizing committee of India International Science festival held in 2020, 2021, 2022



He is BOG Member of ASHRE Chandigarh Chapter. A professional body for HVAC industry.

He is Member of BOS of IKGPTU, Member of CDC IKGPTU and also approved PhD. Guide of IKGPTU.

Organized International Conference on “ Latest Trends in Engineering and Technology” on 15th July 2022.
