About
I am a graduate Ph.D. student at the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Ropar. My primary area of research is on the catalytic conversion of biomass and its oxygenates to industrially important chemicals and fuels. I am also working on the production of hydrogen through the steam reforming of pyrolytic bio-oil. Previously, I worked on the development of graphene-based materials for the removal of organic pollutants such as dyes, pharmaceuticals, etc. from the aqueous phase using techniques such as adsorption and photocatalysis.
