About
I , Dinesh Kumar, currently works as as associate professor at the School of AI of the Bennett University, Greater Noida, U.P., India. Earlier I worked as an auxiliary researcher at ciTechcare of the Instituito Politecnico de Leiria, Portugal. My other previous workplaces were Marwadi University - India, University of Coimbra-Portugal and University of Barcelona-Spain.
I graduated in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, and obtained a PhD degree from University of Coimbra, Portugal, in Information Science in Technology. While working at the University of Barcelona and subsequently at the University of Coimbra he contributed in various national and European Union funded projects since 2003.
My main areas of research are signal and image processing, biosignal signal analysis, machine learning, and data science. Some of his past works include seismic signal analyses, cardiac sound analysis for CVD diagnosis, and EEG analysis for BCI applications. I predominantly use MATLAB, C, and Python in my research work to implement algorithms in process to develop analysis tool.
