About
Dr. Amit Saraswat received his Ph.D. (Electrical Power Systems), M.Tech. (Engineering Systems) and B.Sc.Engg. (Electrical Engineering) from Faculty of Engineering, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Dayalbagh, Agra, India in 2013, 2006 and 2003 respectively. Presently, he is working as a Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur, Rajasthan, India since July 2014. His research area includes Grid Integration Studies for Renewable Energy Systems, Reactive Power & Congestion Management, Competitive Electricity Markets, Competitive Bidding, Multi-objective Evolutionary Methods and Applications of Soft-Computing Techniques in Power System Optimization etc. He has authored several research articles in peer-reviewed International/National Journals, chapters in book series, and also many research papers in peer-reviewed International/National conference proceedings. He is currently supervising 04 Ph.D. thesis and supervised 03 M.Tech. dissertations. He is a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (India), and Member of IEEE (USA) and IEEE Power & Energy Society.
