About
I am Dr. Lateef Ahmad Wani, Ph.D. in Mathematics, currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, College of Science, King Faisal University, Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. My research interests lie in Geometric Function Theory (Complex Analysis). I was born in Palpora village, Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mathematics from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar. In 2015, I qualified both GATE and CSIR-NET. Subsequently, I joined the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) as a Ph.D. scholar on 28 December 2015. I successfully defended my doctoral thesis, titled "Geometric Properties of Starlike Functions Associated with a Nephroid Domain," on 23 October 2020. I have published around 12 research papers and 2 book chapters. I worked at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, Punjab from Oct 2022 to Mar 2026.
