About

Presently, I am an Associate Professor, at , Design and Automation department, Vellore Institute of Technology Vellore. Research Areas: Additive Manufacturing, Mechatronics/robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Product development. I have completed post-doctorate fellow at Institut de Recherche en Communications et Cybernétique de Nantes, Ecole Centale de Nantes, FRANCE. I did my Doctor of Philosophy in Mechatronics at Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) and Masters in Manufacturing Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai.
I have a funded project from SERB, DST on artificial intelligence in colloboration with Robert bosch center for artificial intelligence and data science, IIT madras.
Several International research/academic collaborations are 1) joint research on “3D Computer Vision and Deep-Learning” with Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), Germany. 2) Joint research on “Autonomous In-pipe Robot” with Le Laboratoire des Sciences du Numérique de Nantes (LS2N), École Centrale de Nantes, france. 3) Joint Digital Course development– Factory Digitization and research with University West, Sweden. 4) Joint research on ‘robotics’ with University of Plymouth, UK.

I am passionate about innovations and engineering which help society. i have developed several robots and mechanisms by my own interest , which are useful to common people in day to day life. Generally, I think that instead of working hard, i should work intelligent. My optimistic and planned approach what i do is driving me towards my success.
