About
Dr. Narendrasinh C Chauhan is an accomplished academician, researcher, and academic leader with 23 years of experience in teaching, research, and higher education in the field of Computer Engineering / Information Technology. He is presently working as Professor at Department of Information Technology, G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology, CVM University. He worked as a Professor & Head at Department of Information Technology, A D Patel Institute of Technology, CVM University for the past 14 years. He received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in Computer Engineering in 2001 and 2005 respectively. He earned his PhD degree from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India in 2010. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence Applications to different domains, Machine Learning, Soft Computing, Deep Learning, Data Science, Image & Video Processing, and Approximate Modeling & Optimizations. He has guided 06 PhD thesis and more than 20 Master’s thesis. He has authored two books and has more than 70 research publications to his credit. He has served as a resource person for more than 50 conferences, and training programs at state level, national and international level. He is also contributing to the field of academic and research as a member of Board of Studies, faculty selection committee, research examiner, academic inspections and many more.
