About
Dr. R.Prakash is Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India. His research interests are alternative fuels for internal combustion engines, emission control, and energy from waste. Currently, he is executing three DST-funded projects and under his guidance, 6 research scholars are working. He had published more than 35 research articles in International journals of repute. He has 15 years of teaching experience in Engineering. He completed in B.E Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Madras University affiliated college and completed his M.E Degree in Internal Combustion Engineering at the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University. He had completed his Ph.D. Degree from National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Odisha. He had attended more than 20 International conferences and delivered lectures at Reputed Engineering colleges.
