Dr Shazia Parveen received her Doctorate degree in Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Farukh Arjmand from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, in 2013. Her research work includes the design and synthesis of metal based chiral chemotherapeutic agents derived from biologically active ligands viz., amino acids, benzimidazoles, peptides; and their in vitro DNA binding and cleavage studies.
