Suma’s main research interests lie in the fields of Economics of Innovation and International Business and she has published extensively in both areas. Suma is an area editor for the Journal of International Business Policy, Senior Editor at International Business Review and Eurasia Editor at Industrial and Corporate Change. Suma also serves on the Editorial Board of Research Policy, Innovation and Development and Multinational Business Review.
