About
Shivangi Pathak is a PhD Research Scholar in the Centre for Rural Development and Technology (CRDT) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. She completed her B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Kurukshetra University and M.Tech in Atmospheric Sciences from IIT Delhi. Her Master's thesis was focused on the impact of the vertical profile of aerosols on their radiative forcing and climate across India. She has been endowed with the Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF) as a lateral entry. Her research focuses on adding value to sugarcane waste (bagasse and sugarcane leaves) by using it as an adsorbent for removing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) from wastewater.
