About
I am a Renewable Energy Researcher and Ph.D. scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, specializing in short- and medium-term forecasting of global horizontal irradiance (GHI) using numerical weather prediction (NWP) models and advanced machine learning techniques. My research integrates WRF-Solar simulations with deep learning architectures such as LSTM, GRU, U-Net, and ensemble models to enhance solar irradiance prediction accuracy. I have also worked on data assimilation and radiation parameterization improvements within mesoscale atmospheric models. I have published in leading journals including Journal of Cleaner Production and Energy. His interests include hybrid physics-informed AI, uncertainty quantification, and renewable energy forecasting under diverse climatic conditions.
