Dr. Anoop Kumar Srivastava is a distinguished Computer Scientist and academic leader with a Ph.D. from the highly prestigious Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, under the guidance of eminent scientist Prof. R. K. Shyamasundar. With over four decades of experience in higher education, research, academic administration, and institutional development, he has significantly contributed to the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Behavior, Multi-Agent Systems, Programming Language Design, and Compiler Construction.
He is the creator of VEML Virtual Enterprise Modeling Language ( VEML )—a domain-specific programming language designed for modeling intelligent, autonomous software agents. In addition, he has developed a fully functional compiler for VEML, covering lexical, syntax, semantic analysis, intermediate code generation, and runtime execution. His practical implementations of Multi-Agent Systems using VEML e.g. Virtual Automobile Manufacturing Enterprise, Electronic Marketplace and Airline Reservation System demonstrate his rare ability to translate advanced AI theories into working systems.
Dr. Srivastava has served in senior leadership roles including Professor, Principal, Director, Senior Academic Administrator, and Visiting Professor, guiding institutions in academic excellence, accreditation processes, curriculum modernization, faculty development, and research ecosystem building. His contributions include designing new academic programs, establishing innovation-led learning environments, and mentoring numerous students and faculty in advanced AI and emerging technologies. With research publications in Springer, IEEE, and other reputed platforms, along with a Government of India Copyright Registration for VEML, he brings a unique blend of scholarly depth, innovation, and leadership. His academic expertise spans AI-based system modeling, intelligent agent architectures, multi-agent simulations, programming language theory, compiler implementation, and technology-driven academic transformation.
