About
Dr. Panda is working at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) Rae Bareli, which has been accorded the eminence of being an “Institute of National Importance” in 2008. His doctoral work with Professor Anindya Datta from IIT Bombay, was on the dynamics of spectroscopic properties of fluorescent probe in homogeneous and micro-heterogeneous media. The most important theme of his doctoral research was to correlate the experimental spectroscopic data with the quantum chemical calculations. In postdoctoral research at Cornell University, USA with Professor Peng Chen, he worked on total-internal reflection fluorescence (TIRF) microscopic method to interrogate the Protein-DNA interaction and nanocatalysis at single molecule level. During his second postdoctoral work at Waseda University, Japan with Professor Kazuhiko Kinosita Jr., he worked on the genetic engineering of rotary motor protein F1 ATPase and magnetic tweezer.
