Dr. Shishir K. Gupta is currently an Assistant Professor at the Centre of BioMedical Research (CBMR), Department of Data Sciences, SGPGI Campus, Lucknow, India. He holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Würzburg, Germany, and an MSc in Bioinformatics from UIET, CSJM University, Kanpur, India. He has held research positions at Heinrich Heine University, Düsseldorf, University of Würzburg, University Hospital Erlangen, and University Hospital Heidelberg. His research integrates graph theory, machine learning, and multi-omics approaches to develop diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for complex diseases, aiming to translate these findings into clinical practice to enhance patient outcomes through personalized medicine.
