About
I am a Ph.D. Research Scholar in the Department of Computer Science at Marwadi University, Rajkot, India. My research focuses on the intersection of Computer Vision, Document AI, and Financial OCR, with an emphasis on handwritten bank cheque analysis and intelligent financial document processing.
My work addresses key challenges in cheque-based document understanding, including overlapping handwriting segmentation, faded and degraded text restoration, and deep learning-based information extraction (HTR/OCR). I am currently developing a multi-stage deep learning framework for robust recognition of overlapping and low-quality handwritten text in financial documents.
My broader research interests include document image analysis, handwriting recognition, image enhancement, and secure automation of financial workflows. I aim to contribute high-impact publications to Springer Nature and related leading publishers and to advance real-world AI-driven solutions for financial transaction security and efficiency.
