About
Umme Salma is an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Biotechnology at Sister Nivedita University, West Bengal, where she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses, mentors students, and contributes to academic governance. Her current work integrates teaching with active research in plant biotechnology, with a particular emphasis on plant tissue culture, in vitro regeneration, micropropagation, and metabolic enhancement of medicinal and horticultural crops.
