Dr. Bhavesh Vyas is a researcher and academic professional in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Smart Grid Technology, Net Zero Carbon, ESG, and sustainability studies. He is currently working as Associate Professor at Gyanmanajri Innovative University. Earlier worked as Scientist ‘D’ at NORMI Research Foundation, Gurugram, where he contributes to industrial sustainability projects, BRSR third-party assurance auditing, emission assessment, Net Zero Carbon trainings to multiple companies, odour mitigation frameworks, ISO/QMS implementation, and Centre of Excellence development in Net Zero Carbon.

He holds B.Tech., M.Tech. in Power Systems, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. His doctoral research focused on reactive power management, assessment, and planning for improving the voltage profile of power systems, while his M.Tech. research focused on feeder reconfiguration of sub-transmission networks using minimum power flow methodology. His core research interests include power-system simulation, reactive power management, feeder reconfiguration, smart grids, renewable integration, FACTS devices, voltage profile improvement, Net Zero transition, carbon accounting, ESG reporting, BRSR, geospatial ESG frameworks, AI/ML-based emission modelling, and sustainable technology applications.

Dr. Vyas has authored and co-authored journal articles, IEEE conference papers, books, and book chapters. His publications include articles in Sādhanā – Indian Academy of Sciences, Journal of The Institution of Engineers (India): Series B, Materials Today: Proceedings, Archives of Thermodynamics, SSRG International Journal of Civil Engineering, and other indexed platforms. He has published 50 total research outputs, including 10 journal articles, 24 conference papers, 8 books, and 8 book chapters, with 31 Scopus-indexed publications. His Google Scholar metrics include 143 citations, h-index 7, and i10-index 4.

He has served as a reviewer for IEEE Access and other journals and is professionally associated with IEEE, International Association of Engineers, Science Publication Group, The Institution of Engineers India, and ISAC India. His professional certifications include NABCB/QCI training on EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, NABCB ISO/IEC 17029 assessor training, Certified ESG Risk Analyst, Executive PG in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from iHUB IIT Roorkee, Cyber Crime Intervention Officer certification, Certified Drone Pilot certification, and ISO/IEC 17020 training for inspection bodies.

Dr. Vyas has contributed to national and industrial capacity-building programs, grant-funded events, academic administration, Ph.D. program management, NAAC/NBA accreditation support, research development activities, and student innovation projects in drones, IoT, robotics, embedded systems, and sustainable engineering. His interdisciplinary work connects power-system engineering with Net Zero Carbon, ESG compliance, geospatial reporting, carbon markets, AI-driven sustainability analytics, and environmental quality systems.
