About
Sanjeev Singh (Member, IEEE) has worked in optical electronics and received a Ph.D. in electronics from the University of Delhi, in 1997.
Apart from teaching M.Sc. in informatics for the last 20 years, he has worked in networks, security, and communication technologies. He has published over 70 research publications in international/national journals and conferences. He has been a Visiting Fellow at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), U.K., under a Commonwealth Fellowship. He spearheaded the “Cross-Cultural Innovation Network,” sponsored by the European Commission, and completed several research projects funded by various government agencies in India. His current research interests include IoT-based system design and cyber-physical systems. He is a member of the National IT Committee, FICCI, and a Principal Coordinator for the U.K. India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI-I) project. He is a Network Fellow of the Commonwealth Partnership in Technology Management (CPTM), London, U.K., and a member of the Innovation Cluster and Science & Technology Parks (STPs) forum, Ministry of Knowledge Economy, South Korea. In addition, he is the Chair of the National Committee on Wearable Devices at BIS, Government of India.
