About
I graduated with my PhD in 2017 from Northumbria University at Newcastle, UK. I worked in Prof D.L. Smiths Lab on temperate phages of Pseudomonas and Burkholderia isolates of the chronic lung. I joined the Quadram institute of biosciences in 2018 to work in the Simon Carding's group to establish a working protocol in gut viromics. In 2021 I joined Nu-Omics to aid the upscaling of the sequencing of SARs-Cov-2. Later I transitioned into Smiths Lab research group to continue developing my research interests, aiding students from BSc, Msc and PhD level and completing and aiding ongoing projects within the group.
