About
Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Jhanjeri, Mohali. I have a strong foundation in plant biotechnology and agriculture microbiology. My research primarily focuses on areas of stress tolerance in plants, plant tissue culture, phytochemical analysis, conservation of medicinal plants, and microbial interactions that enhance plant growth. I have also been involved in several pioneering research projects that explore the effects of stress-tolerant endophytic bacteria on the growth of plants under abiotic stress conditions, particularly in Andrographis paniculata, Rheum emodi, Solanum lycopersicum etc a plant known for its medicinal properties. My work also delves into understanding the molecular mechanisms behind plant stress responses and how these can be leveraged for agricultural improvements. I also contributed to various conferences, workshops, and seminars with a wider academic and professional audience.
