I am MBBS, MD (Biochemistry) from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India, and PhD from the MRC Toxicology Unit, Carshalton, UK. I am currently serving as National Science Chair (DST-SERB) at Department of Biochemistry, AIIMS, New Delhi. Earlier I was the Director, National Brain Research Centre, Manesar, Gurgaon, India and Professor and Head of Department, Dept of Biochemistry, AIIMS, New Delhi, where I have been in the faculty since 1988. My interests are Molecular Biology and Genetics, especially as related to cancer, and the specific learning disorder dyslexia, Immunology and translational research in general.
