About
Dr. S. Selva Kumar currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He joined Amrita in the year 2008 before which he was working as a lecturer in VLB Janakiammal College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore in 2001 and Master’s degree in Process Control and Instrumentation from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu in 2005. He obtained his Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai in the year 2016. His doctoral thesis was titled: “DEVELOPMENT OF OPTIMAL CONTROLLER FOR PARALLEL OPERATION AND INTERCONNECTED OPERATION OF HEAVY DUTY GAS TURBINE PLANTS.”
