About
I am a pharmacologist by training with a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar, India. My doctoral research focused on evaluating the hepatoprotective potential of Salvia sclarea and Rumex nepalensis against chemically induced hepatocellular damage in experimental models. My research interests include in vitro and in vivo organ injury models, molecular toxicology, and cell signaling, with a particular focus on Nrf2-mediated antioxidant pathways in liver injury and oxidative stress. I have experience in HepG2 cell-based assays, Western blotting, phytochemical profiling, and histopathological evaluation. I have worked as a Junior Research Fellow at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Kashmir, and as a Visiting Research Fellow at CSIR-IIIM, Srinagar.
